Sanrakshika, the CISF Wives Welfare Association works for the empowerment and betterment of the families of CISF personnel through various activities. It came into existence on 26th August 2014. Sanrakshika derives its name from CISF motto “Sanrakshan and Suraksha”.
Sanrakshika aspires to help its members to develop their personality and nurture their talent to enhance their own pride and confidence. This enables them to positively contribute for the well-being of their own family and CISF Community as a whole.
Sanrakshika becomes a source of strength and support to CISF personnel. Sanrakshika endeavours to encourage its members to become citizens, who have empathy for the larger community, and love for the environment and nature.

CISF FAMILIES: The spouse of personnel, their children and dependent parents.
COMMUNITY: The underprivileged section of our society.
HEALTH: Holistic health which constitutes of - physical, mental, emotional and economic well-being.
HARMONY: Harmony with one’s own self, within the family, with the community and with the environment.
A Vision is the “North Star” which gives the direction to the objectives of Sanrakshika which are as follows:
Looking after the well-being of individuals is the primary requisite for any organization, so the first objective of Sanrakshika is to help and encourage Sanrakshika members to take care of their physical, mental and emotional health.
Building economic capacity is an essential component for well-being. Sanrakshika aims to develop skills of the CISF families to make them more confident and adaptable in this fast-changing world.
Cohesive and inclusive involvement of Sanrakshika members by building bonds amongst themselves is essential for the development of the organization. This is a pre-requisite to ensure participation in various activities which are undertaken to develop harmony in the CISF Community as a whole.
Sanrakshika members should involve themselves in helping the deprived section of the society. The spirit should be to serve and give. So that we develop empathy in our members and the deprived section gets the support & care from Sanrakshika.
Nature is the source of life. The air we breathe, water we drink, Earth which feeds and nurtures us needs to be preserved for the future generations. Sanrakshika aspires to sensitize and develop awareness among families to make cleaner and greener planet.
